Important. Read the instructions before proceeding further:
Proper Title and meta tags will greatly help your ranking in our search engine. Please make sure your Title tag and Description and Keyword meta tags are correct before adding your URL. Here is a good meta tag creator if you need one.
Give Your Site a Boost: You can also give your site a slight boost in the search results by linking to us. You should do this before submitting your URL. However, a link back is not required for listing in Planet Doom.
Before submitting, please check and see if your site is already listed by searching for your URL. If your site comes up in that search then you are already listed.
Who may add their URL?
1. All URL's submitted are reviewed by a human editor before they are added.
2. Your site must be about horror fiction, dark fantasy, and science fiction monsters. We like monsters, 50 ft. spiders, zombies, vampires, Godzilla and the like.
3. We are only going to spider 1 (one) page from your site. Generally, you should only submit your index page, (ie.: www.YOURSITE.com or YOURSITE.tripod.com).
4. We only list sites in English.
5. Sites (or a page) being added should have real, unique content of interest to genre fans. If not it will not be accepted.
Who may NOT add their URL?
1. We do not list adult, warez, hate sites or sites that promote illegal or harmful activities.
2. We do not list individual catalog pages - not even for books.
3. We do not list any CJB.net sites.
4. We do not list any sites with forwarding URL's. Please submit the real URL.
We reserve the right to deny a listing or remove a listing for any reason. Only submit once page one time. Spamming will result in a permanent ban or removal.
What happens after I add my URL?
As a rule we do not send out acceptance emails. Please return to Planet Doom and search for your URL after about 2 weeks. If your site has been accepted it will appear in that search. Our robot, PlanetDoombot, will revisit URL's in the database about every 60 days for updates and changes. This means that if you make changes to your page you do not need to do a thing, the robot will check for changes automatically. Our robot respects robots.txt files and robots meta tags.
